Support
Something not right, or an idea for what's next? Email [email protected]. One person reads it, so plain words help most: what you tapped, what happened, and which device.
Restoring a purchase
Spotneck has two purchases: Treetop, a one-time unlock for your cloud drives, and Tower, the subscription for hosting friends and clubs. Both belong to your store account, not to one device:
- iPhone, iPad and Mac: purchases follow your Apple Account. Sign in to the same Apple Account you bought with, then tap Restore purchases in Spotneck.
- Android: purchases follow your Google account. Make sure the Play Store uses the Google account you bought with, then tap Restore purchases in Spotneck.
Still not showing? Email us with roughly when you bought it and which purchase it was. Nothing in your library is lost in the meantime.
Refunds
The store takes the payment, so the store handles refunds. Spotneck never sees your payment details.
- App Store: reportaproblem.apple.com
- Google Play: Play's refund page
Managing or cancelling Tower
Tower is managed in your store's settings, not in the app. Cancel at least 24 hours before it renews:
- iPhone and iPad: Settings › your name › Subscriptions › Spotneck.
- Mac: App Store › your name › Account Settings › Subscriptions › Manage.
- Android: Play Store › your profile picture › Payments & subscriptions › Subscriptions › Spotneck.
Friends you invite join free; only the host needs Tower. If a host's Tower lapses, their friendships and clubs pause: everyone sees where things stood, nothing new is shared, and nothing is deleted. Renew and the whole circle picks up where it left off. Only a circle left paused for 180 days is cleared away.
Cloud drives
Spotneck plays from OneDrive and Google Drive, signed in from your device; we never see your files or your sign-in. One folder from one of them is free. Treetop unlocks as many folders as you like, from both.
iCloud Drive on Apple devices
On iPhone, iPad and Mac, iCloud Drive folders are just files on your device: add them under This device, like any other folder. They don't count as a cloud drive, so no purchase is needed.
Your data
Your library, places and bookmarks live on your device. The only thing on our server is your Friends account, if you set one up. See Deleting your account and the Privacy Policy.
